YEUK Ambassadors lead on tackling youth unemployment

AJ

Following on from the #YouthFriendlyMP Campaign, YEUK Ambassadors were asked to hold their own events that would help young people in their communities. Alexa-Jane  took on this challenge and is bringing an event together in Worcester for local young people!

Worcester Uni Midlands Event- 10th October 2014, 5pm-7pm

University of Worcester, Riverside Building

The aim of this event is to bring together young people and people of influence in the local area to discuss issues that directly affect young people and what can be done.

It is also an opportunity to discover opportunities in the local area, network and find out about things like volunteering which can enhance employability.

Young people can find out how to obtain funding from O2 Think Big for their own project or Think Bigevent just like this!

Join us on the day to:

  • Find out more about YEUK and how to become a member of even an Ambassador
  • Find out more about Bright Futures and how to join a committee near you
  • Ask a panel, including Robin Walker MP and Alex Quang from O2 Think Big, questions about employability, volunteering, voting and so much more!
  • Take part in a team building exercise to win prizes
  • Enjoy free food and drink while networking with employers and voluntary organisations
